Third ISO Networking Conference

ISO is bringing together information, marketing, training and public relations managers and experts of the ISO community to establish contracts, communicate and exchange experiences at its Third ISO Networking Conference on 29-30 November in Sydney, Australia.

With a number of communication and promotion related subjects covered in the ISO Strategic Plan 2005-2010, the Conference, entitled "Strategic orientations for the ISO community: How do communication, marketing and training fit in?" will set out ways of implementing the strategic plan with respect to these subjects.

Participants will be able to exchange their ideas and views on the current situation, future trends and implementation of strategic objectives in five sessions related :

• Communication :    getting the message across to stakeholders.

• Education and training:  increasing the involvement of ISO and its members.

• Information : adding value to standards.

• Resources for the ISO system : ensuring sustainability.

• How to improve networking within the ISO system ?
